Mount Pleasant Home offers a home-like community unlike any other in Dubuque. Our affordable rent includes all the services needed to provide a safe, stable, comfortable, clean, interesting, and healthy environment.

Floor plans range from 200 to 500 square feet, which determines the amount of rent paid. Some floor plans include a private bath.

Community rooms throughout the building including a high-ceiling parlor with an aviary, sun porch and library, and a family dining room for guests.

Our facilities support thirty-nine residents living independently for short- or long- term stays. Admission is simple and the application can be completed in minutes. Either furnished or unfurnished rooms are available with a variety of floor plans and the choice of either a private or a semi-private bath.

The application process is as follows:

Arrange a time for a tour that allows staying for a meal and meeting other residents.

Stay for a few days on a trial basis.

Mount Pleasant Home welcomes both short- and long- term stays.

Rent is determined by floor plan, is on a month-to-month basis, and has no lease requirement.

There are neither income limits nor application fees.

The application form can be processed in a day.
