Our caring staff is available to provide support for our residents twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Our History
Built in the 1850s as a single-family home, Mt. Pleasant Home has a rich history of providing service to the Dubuque community.
Our Purpose
To provide a nurturing, home-like environment to those who can benefit from the socialization and community living environment.
Our Mission
Provide housing and service options for individuals, with emphasis on serving a diverse population and giving priority to those with limited financial resources and inadequate support systems.

To achieve this mission, the Mt. Pleasant Home will:​

Promote the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health of its residents in a warm, caring environment that encourages independence and enables residents to "age in place" as long as possible.

Assure the financial soundness of the home.

Develop and maintain a competent, compassionate and professional staff.

Conduct the business of the home in a manner that is guided by the highest ethical principles and is consistent with the spirit and intent of its founders.
